LA PUTA
The story takes place in a mythical desert border town that nobody can remember which side of the border it was on. They all remember “La Puta”. She lactates healing nectar from her breast. Healing a town desperately trying not to drown in the sea of sand that surrounds them.
This short film shot in 2004 still has the essence of early Chicana indie cinema from the turn of the century. It was made with limited resources and a tight budget.
